Hall of Said State and County being of Sound and disposing mind and memory, and deeming it fit and proper both as respects myself and any Little children do make a disposition of my worldly goods while I have strength so to do with which a kind providence has blessed me to make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all other wills heretofore made by me. Item First: I desire that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner. Item Second: I desire and direct that all my personal property excepting my household and kitchen furniture be sold by my herein after named Executor for the purpose of paying my just debts, and for the purpose of maintaining and supporting my four minor children hereinafter named out of the proceeds of said sale. Item Third: I will devise and bequeath all of my property both real and personal and of whatever kind and description to be equally divided between my four minor children to wit: Ella Hall, Nancy Hall, Lois Hall and Thomas S. Hall, Share and Share alike, as soon as practicable after my youngest child attains the age of twenty one years. Item Fourth: I will and direct that after the payment of my debts as herein before directed, that all of my property of what ever kind and description remaining be kept together for the support maintenance and education of my four minor children named in the third item of this my last will and testament, and that none of said property whatever be sold except for the maintenance support and education of my herein before named four minor children and that none of my said property be sold _____ the maintenance support and education of my four minor children herein before ______ unless the income of all of my aforesaid property prove[?] and be unsufficient for the support maintenance and education of my four minor children herein before mentioned. Item Fifth: I hereby constitute and appoint my friend and kinsman Dr. R. G. Reid trustee for each and every one of my four minor children mentioned in the third item of this my last will and testament to control and manage all of my aforesaid property in accordance with and conformably to the fourth item of this my last will and testament. Item Sixth. I will bequeath and direct that the said Dr. R. J. Reid appointed trustee in the foregoing item of this my last will and testament hold control and manage all of my aforesaid property for the sole use benefit and behoof of my aforementioned four minor children. Item Seventh. I desire that my four minor children hereinbefore mentioned be kept together during their minority and that they be not separated or ______ to separate from their same abode and house where ever that may be unless for some very good reason or cause. Item Eight: I desire that all of my four minor children hereinbefore mentioned continue to live in the house in which I now reside on the rode from Crawfordville to Sandy Cross at the old place known as the Corry[?] place with my mother Nancy Reid. Item Ninth: Should my good mother Nancy Reid remove from said house or die before my youngest child becomes (21) twenty one years old or any other event interpose to cause my said children and my said mother to cease to live together in said home, then I desire such disposition made of my aforementioned children as will insure their comfort and well being such as is warranted by the circumstances. Item Tenth. I hereby constitute and appoint my friend and brother Dr. R. G. Reid executor of this my last will and testament. Item Eleventh. I will devise and bequeath should all of my four minor children hereinbefore mentioned die without any or either of them leaving a child or children or descendants of a child or children, all of my property remaining at the time of the death of the last one of my before mentioned four children to my brother Dr. R. J. Reid. In witness of all the foregoing I have set my hand and seal this the 16th day of November Eighteen Hundred and Eighty Seven. Ann C. Hall (L.S.) Signed delivered and published by Ann C. Hall as her last will and testament in the presence of us the Subscribing who subscribe our names hereto in the presence of said testator at her instance and request and of each other, She signing in our presence and we signing in her presence and in the presence of each other. Holden State of Georgia Taliaferro County By the Court of Ordinary of said County To all to whom these presence shall come Greeting. Know ye that on the 5th December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty seven, the last will and testament of Ann C. Hall late of Taliaferro county deceased was exhibited in open court and in common form of law presented and admitted to record, a copy of which is hereunto annexed, and administration of all and singular of goods chattels and credits of said deceased was granted to R. G. Reid the Executor in and by said will name and appointed, he having first taken the oath and performed all other requisites requited by law, he by order of said court and by virtue of these presents legally authorized to administer the goods, chattels of said deceased according to the tenor[?] and effects of the said will and testament, and according to law, and he is hereby required to render a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased and appraised and returned to this court, according to law, and to render a true and correct account - to the said court – of his actings and doings yearly, and every year until his said administration is fully completed.
