Will of Martha Moore

Georgia, Taliaferro Co.
I Martha Moore being in sound mind and disposing memory do make and ordain this 
my last will and testament.  I do give and bequeath unto my grand daughter 
Emily Moore one Bed and Bedstead and I also give to my grand son William C. 
Moore my Sorrel Horse and I further appoint my Son A. E. Moore as agent to take 
care of the above described property for his daughter Emily and son William C. 
in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixt my Seal this the 
fourteenth day of July One thousand eight hundred and forty one.

  The Justices of the Superior Court sitting for Ordinary purposes September 
Term 1841 Present their Honors George Tilley, John Chapman, Silvester V. 
Luckett, William Evans, Pearce Oleary.  Personally appeared before us in open 
Court William Peavy and Thomas Pittman the two Subscribing witnesses to the 
within will who being Sworn depose & say that they saw the Testatrix Martha 
Moore Sign Seal and heard her acknowledge the within instrument of writing to 
be her last will and testament and at the time of her so doing she was of sound 
disposing mind and memory and that they subscribed the same as withesses in her 
presence and at her request.  Sworn to and Subscribed in open Court this 6th 
day of Sept 1841.
