Mary a woman and her children, Martha, Warren, Mariah, Adol___, and Alfred, and their _________ shall be publicly or privately, together or separately, sold as my __________ after named Executor may deem most advisable for the interest of my Estate, and comfort of the negroes and the proceeds to be equally divided between my daughter Lucinda Billingslea, my daughter Nancy Luckett, or their representatives, my grand children (the children of my dec’d. son Hockey L. Towns) my daughter Elizabeth O’Brian & her children solely & separately for their use, free from the debts or controls of her Husband Brisie O’Brian [Pressie Obrien], to be paid to her (the said Elizabeth) for her and their use by my Executor and my Daughter Mary Dewberry (the wife of John Dewberry, to be paid her by my Executor, and should the said John Mary Dewberry fail to call on my Executor within the span of five years from my death then and in that event her portion is to be paid to my daughter Elizabeth O’Brian, in the same manner and with like restrictions as to her own portion. 3rd: It is my will and desire that all the money notes and accounts that I may die possessing of together with the proceeds of the sale of a tract of Land owned by me situated in Early or Lee County, after paying just debts and burial expenses shall be paid to my son Thomas T. Towns by my executor in trust, for the sole use and benefit of his children free from the debts or controls of the said Thomas T. Towns other tan for the use and benefit of his children. I also give and bequeath unto my said son Thomas T. Towns in Trust and with like restrictions for the use and benefit of his children the proceeds of the sale of such stock household and kitchen furniture as I die possessed of ___. Then 4th: It is my will and desire that my hereinafter named Executor shall, and he is hereby authorized to make and execute in title to the tract of Land sold to, and now in possession of Abner Sturdivant so soon as the said Sturdivant shall pay the purchase money. It is also my will and desire that no interest shall be charged on a note held by me against Francis Billingslea which note is for one hundred dollars for money on deposit with the said Billingslea. 5th: Finally and lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint Abner Darden Executor to this my last will and Testament.
