Tattnall COUNTY GA Old Anderson Cemetery Glennville, GA File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by : Laura Anderson-Sweat email: Morcash99@home.com http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/cemeteries/oldand.txt Old Anderson Cemetery Tattnall County Glennville, GA This cemetery is not far from the Hopewell Methodist Church. Hopewell Methodist Church is located on the Baxter-Durrence Road a.k.a. County Rte. 196. Going east from the Hopewell Methodist Church on Baxter-Durrence Road, you will take a left on the County Rte. 314. There you will take a dirt road called Old Anderson Cemetery Road, which is to your left off CR 314. About 3 miles down this road is the cemetery. It is located near Watermelon Creek and also a locked gate, so you will need a key to go inside. This is a very old cemetery and some vandalism has taken place and some markers have been removed. There were about 20 or less headstones in this area when I checked. There could be more without headstones or markers. Any inclusions or corrections would be most appreciated. Wm. W. Anderson b.
