Glisson respectfully showeth that D.B. Glisson, a resident of said County until his death, which happened on the 15th day of May 1921, has left a considerable estate, real and personal, in said state, and that he died without a will; that on account of the time required by law to advertise for Permanent Letters of Administration, and the circumstances of the estate of said D.B. Glisson, deceased, great loss and injury may happen unless temporary administration is granted immediately on said estate, and that W.L. Glisson is entitled by law to be appointed Administrator of said estate, he being son of said D.B. Glisson, deceased. Petitioner would further state that he is a resident of said State, and that the estate of said D.B. Glisson, deceased, is worth about Two Thousand Dollars W.L. Glisson Tattnall Court of Ordinary. Cheney, Ordinary of said County, and to his successors in office, in the sum of Four Thousand Dollars and no Cents, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators of us and each of us, firmly by these presents. Subscribed with our hands, and sealed with our seals, this 19th day of May, 1921 The Condition of the above Bond or Obligation is such, That, whereas, the above bound W.L. Glisson has this day applied to the said C.L. Cheney, Ordinary, for and has obtained Temporary Letters of Administration of the goods and chattels, rights and credits of D.B. Glisson, deceased: Now, if the above bound W.L. Glisson shall carefully collect and preserve from waste or less all the goods and chattels and effects of the said D.B. Glisson respectfully shows that he has been appointed Tem. Administrator of D.B. Glisson, late of said County, deceased shows that said estate consists partly in personal perishable property, such as Household and kitchen furniture, guns, pistols, One stock of Groceries and store fixtures all located in the City of Cobbtown, which he desires to sell. The Honorable the Court of Ordinary, for the County and State Aforesaid: To W.L. Glisson Whereas D.B. Glisson late of the County and State aforesaid D.B. Glisson deceased, died intestate, having whilst he lived, and at the time of his death, Real, and Personal Estate within the County and State aforesaid, by means whereof the full disposition and power of granting the administration of all the singular, the Real and Personal Estate of the said deceased, and also auditing the accounts, calculations, and reckonings, of the said administration, and a final dismission of the same, to this Court is manifestly known to belong: I , desiring, that the Real and Personal Estate of the said deceased may be well and truly administered, converted and well disposed of, do hereby grant unto the said W.L. Glisson full power by the tenor of these presents to administer the Real and Personal Estate of the said deceased which, to him in his lifetime, and at the time of his death did belong; and to ask, levy, sue for, recover and receive the same; and to pay the debts in which the deceased stood obligated, so far forth as his Real and Personal Estate will extend according to their rate and order of law; being first sworn on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God, to make a true and perfect inventory thereof, and to exhibit the same into the Court of Ordinary, aforesaid, in order to be recorded, on or before the 1st day of July 1922, next ensuing, and to render a just and true account, calculation and reckoning of the said administration, when thereunto required: And I ordain, depute, and constitute you, the said W.L. Sealed with our seals, and dated at Reidsville Ga., this 4th day of July, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty One THE CONDITION OF THE ABOVE OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That if the above bound W.L. Glisson, Administrator of the lands & tenements, goods, chattels, and credits of D.B. Glisson, deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory and appraisement of all and singular the lands & Tenements, goods, chattels, and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession, or knowledge of the said W.L. Glisson, or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do exhibit unto the said Court of Ordinary, when he shall be thereunto required, and such lands & tenements, goods, chattels, and credits do well and truly administer according to law, and make a true and just account of his actings and doings therein when required by the Court of Ordinary for said County; and all the rest of the lands & tenements, goods, chattels, and credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said administration, the same being first allowed by the said Court, shall deliver and pay to such persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law; and if it shall hereafter appear that any will and testament was made by the said deceased, and the same be proved before the Court, and the Executors obtain a certificate of the probate thereof, and the said W.L. Glisson do in such case, if required, render and deliver up the said Letters of Administration, then this obligation to be void; else to remain in full force. And each of us whether principal or security hereby waives for ourselves and families any and all homestead and exemption rights we may have under or by virtue of the Constitution or Laws of Georgia or of the United States as against this Bond.
