Witnesseth that the said Thomas Green for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Joshua Kemp at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and conveyed and delivered and by these doth bargain sell and deliver unto the said Joshua Kemp one certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Washington at the time of Survey now in the county of Tattnall containing One hundred acres be the same more or less on the waters of the Ohoopee river beginning on a pine and running 520 E 141 chains 40 locks to a pine corner, 570 W 70 chains 70 locks to a pine corner, North 20 W 141 chains 40 locks three N 70 E 70 chains to the beginning on all sides vacant at the time of survey and conveyed to the said Thomas Green by deed bearing date Nov 29th 1806 by the administrator of Briggs Hopson To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land unto the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Joshua Kemp his heirs Executors Administrators forever in fee simple And the said Thomas Green against himself, his heirs, Executors, Administrators and all and every other person and persons shall and will warrant and forever defend the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and premises unto the said Joshua Kemp his heirs Executors and Administrators.
