allegiance to U. S. Government and was
furnished transportation to New York City.

Received at Washington, D. C. April 5, 1865.
Took oath and furnished transportation to
New York City.

Green, John- private September 1, 1862. Died
of pneumonia in Newsome Hospital at
Cassville, Ga. March 10, 1864.

Honand, J. B.- private September 1, 1862. In
Walker Division Hospital at Lauderdale,
Miss. August 31, 1863. No later record.

Jones, Martin E.- private September 30,1862.
Substitute for Simon W. Brewton. Captured at
Resaca, Ga. May 16, 1864. Sent from Alton,
Ill. to James River, Va. for exchange
February 21, 1865. Received at Boulware and
Cox's Wharves, James River, Va., March 6, or
9,1865. (Born in Georgia.)

Lynn, Daniel E.- Enlisted as a private in
Co. L 27th Regiment Ga. Inf. September 10,
1861. Received pay June 30, 1864. No later
record. Pension records show he was
transferred to Co. G, 47th Regiment Ga. Inf.
March 1865, and surrendered at Greensboro,
N. C. April 26, 1865. (Born in Georgia
December 16, 1832.)

1865. (Born in Tattnall County, Ga. June 5,
1825.)

Mims, Elliott E.- private May 26, 1862.

wounded furlough close of war.

at Chickamauga, Ga. September 19, 1863.

enlisted April 1864. Captured at River's
Bridge, S. C. February 8, 1865. Paroled at
Fayetteville, N. C. April 1865. (Born in Ga.
Died in Colquitt County, Ga. in 1923.)
