James C. Harris

Collins – James C. Harris, 52, of Collins died at his home Tuesday after a long
illness.

A native of Tattnall County, he was a veteran of World War II and a member of
the Collins First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. Mae Harris of Lyons; two sons, Ricky and
Jimmy, both of Claxton; a sister, Mrs. Emily H. Peterson of Miami Springs, Fla.;
and two brothers, Roy J Jr. and Joe B Harris both of Collins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Collins First Baptist
Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Hooks Mortuary of Metter is in charge.
