EDEN - Mrs. Ethel Sikes Lovett, 86, of Eden, died Tuesday at Savannah 
Convalescent Home after a short illness.

The native of Tattnall and Evans County lived in Eden for eight years and was 
a member of Eden Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, John K. and Harold C. Sikes, both of Savannah and 
Judson Sikes of Bloomingdale; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Bell Scales of 
Lakeland, Fla. and Mrs. Euclide McGowan of Savannah; a sister Mrs. Minnie 
Bacon of Jacksonville, Fla., 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at the NeSmith Funeral Home in 
Claxton with burial in Rodgers Chapel Church Cemetery.
