                    Mrs. Mary Jane Tapley
UVALDA---Mrs. Mary Jane Tapley, 71, died Thursday afternoon near Blichton 
after an apparent heart attack.
 A native of Treutlen County, she had lived in Uvalda the past 30 years and 
was a member of Red Bluff Church in Treutlen County.
 Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Adams of Uvalda, Mrs. Flossie Denton 
of Savannah, Mrs. Doris Galbreath of Ailey; four sons, Ted Tapley of Savannah, 
Ned Tapley of Uvalda, Hubert Tapley of Vidalia, and Elton Tapley of Tampa, 
Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Perrish of Lyons and Mrs. Bessie Davis of 
Savannah; four brothers, Rufus and Arthur Foskey of Uvalda, Emory Foskey of 
Vidalia, and  Herbert Foskey of Savannah; 13 grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.
 Frank Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge.

Additional Comments:
Mary Jane was born 7-9-1892 to John Robert Foskey and Mary Etta Davis Foskey. 
Her husband was William Ander "Billy" Tapley.
