Samuel Newton Jarriel & Mamie Alma Higg's ,were childhood sweethearts who 
later on in their lives married .Samuel Newton Jarriel ,was the son of ,Mary 
Evelyn Hughes and John Gordon Jarriel .Mamie Alma Higgs ,was the daughter 
of ,Robert Jasper Higgs and Mary Katherine Stewart .

Additional Comments:
Samuel Newton Jarriel's ,Maternal Grandparents were, John Duncan Hughes and 
Martha S. Sharpe .His Paternal grandparents were , John L. Jarriel and Lucinda 
Kennedy.
