Bazemore and Miss Lizzie Mahone were married at the Methodist church in Reidsville at 7 o'clock last evening. Reverend C.C. Hines officiating. The bride is a highly accomplished and most amiable lady and is the daughter of the late General T.H. Mahone of Belleview, where she is held in the greatest esteem for her many loveable qualities. The whole town was greatly but most pleasantly surprised at the event, but none more so than her intimate friend and schoolmate, Mrs. Sallie Murphey, sister of editor Folsom, at whose home she was a guest. The name of "Mahone's Fighting Brigade" is familiar to all veterans of the war. Mr. Bazemore is a gentleman of public spirit, integrity and worth and is one of the best known and most thoroughly respected citizens of Tattnall County. The Journal extends its since congratulations on the happy occasion and wishes for them happiness and prosperity. >From the Tattnall Journal, Reidsville
