Coenelius B. Shirah was born Dec 22nd, 1870
John James Shirah was born July 3rd, 1873
Nathan Bespass Shirah was born Jan 1st, 1876
George W. Shirah was born June 3rd, 1878
James B. Philips was born Feb 16, 1880
Dura B was born Aug 15th, 1897

MARRIAGES
Misouria Shirah and H.W. Phillips were married Dec 5th, 1878
Sallie J. Shirah and W. D. Paris were married Dec 25th, 1881
N.R. Shirah and Nora Gallman were married 

DEATHS
James Philips departed this life on Jan 17th, 1881
W. H. Shirah departed this life on the 7th of June 1885
Mrs. M.A.E. Shirah, the wife of Nicholas Shirah departed this life November 
the 24th, 1895



Additional Comments:
Nicholas was born In Houston County, the son Of Charles Shirah (d. 1849 in 
Macon County) and Laurana Medlin Shirah, both of Richland County, SC. He 
served in Co. I, 64th Georgia Infantry 1863-1865. He was a member of Bethel 
Primitive Baptist Church in Taylor County from about 1860 and was a charter 
member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in Taylor County from 1870. He 
died in Carroll County in 1908.
M.A.E. is Mary Ann Elizabeth Bachelor Shirah (Daughter of Cornelius Bachelor).
All the children were born in Taylor County except George, who was born in 
Coweta County. James Phillips was Nicholas grandson who died as an infant in 
1881. It is unknown who Dora is.
