My Great-Grandmother Linnie Ann Margarett Willis Smith Bible

This Bible belonged to Linnie Ann Margarett Willis, daughter of Dempsey Andrew Jackson and Priscilla McGee Willis. She Married Charles Madison Smith. The Bible was handed down to her daughter, Nettie Orean Smith Adams, then to her son John Bentley Adams and to his son John Robert Adams.

Willie Jackson Smith was born 18 day of April in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and sixty nine 1869
Edmun Robert Smith was born September 28 in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and seventy-one 1871
Nettie Orean Smith was born June the 16 eighteen hundred and seventy-four 1874
Lemual Markus Blanford Smith was born in of the year of our Lord February the 1, 1878

The births John H. and Nettie O. Smith Adams’ children were also recorded in this Bible.
