Lowe, which occurred at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. J.M. Bateman, on Sunday morning last, having been long afflicted with consumption. Her death was calm and serene and while our community, friends and relatives mourn her loss we mourn not as we do those who have no hope in heaven. She was an affectionate mother, a true friends, and a kind neighbor. In her was found every virtue of a pure and perfect lady. Knowing that her time had come, that her last day on earth would soon be spent, she was perfectly resigned to the will of her Master. Her ramins were interred in the cemetery near the Baptist church on yesterday evning followed by a large number of her dearest friends and loved ones.
