Married around 1826 Mary (also born in GA) Settled in Marion County on land which later became Taylor County. Appeared in 1850 Marion County Census at age 50 and on 1852 Taylor County Tax List in the 853th White Water /Howard GMD. Isaac Mulkey who was Justice of Inferior Court from 1852- 1858. Played a significant role in Taylor County history, witnessing many deeds for its citizens. Date of death not known, but before 1860 census. His sons included: Seaborn (1826) William (1828) Charles (1830) was Postmaster and married Mary Ann Pope I. Newton (1836) Mary Mulkey died at age 95 in April 12, 1890. Vol 14 #23 15 April 1890 The Butler Herald Died - Mrs. Mary Mulkey died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Mulkey on Saturday past. Ninety five years old. Death caused partly from a fall she had crossing a bridge in north Butler. Interred in the cemetery near the Baptist Church.
