Parks (my ggfather) who is on 1852 Tax List for Taylor Co William G(ildersleeve) Parks Son of Moses Parks (N.C.), was living in the 13th district of Macon Co. in 1850. This portion of 13th district became part of Taylor in 1852. He married Elizabeth Thompson & they had six children. He was a carpenter and was in 5th regiment of Ga State Guards during CSA. William Gildersleeve died in 1893 and is buried at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery (formerly New Hope Primitive Baptist).
