He had been in feeble health for more than 12 months, and his death though sad was no surprise to his family and friends. On Saturday night previous to his death he became affecgted with a derangement of the mind and aparently lost his sight, from which he never recovered or spoke a word, and all that friends and physicians could do was of no avail. Mr. Williamson was about 50 years of age, and during his life he had held several positions of honer and trust, and although he led a checkered career yet he possessed a kind and generous disposition. His remains were interred in the cemetery in Butler Thursday evening surrounded by a large number of sympathizing relatives and friends, the funearl services being conducted by Elder J.G. Murray.
