Scott, which occurred at his home a few miles west of Butler early Tuesday morning, after a long illness, but the information was received too late for the western mail, hence it is re-published in this issue that his friends may all know of his death. Mr. Scott was in the 56h year of his age, a quiet but perservering farmer and prepared well for his family. He has just completed the erection of a handsom residence near Scott's Station but had not moved into it. Mr. Scott leaves a devoted companion, a large family of children besides many firends to mourn their loss. His remains were interred in the family burying ground near his home on Wednesday, the funeral services being conducted by Elder J.G. Murray. ======================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
