Everitt (note surname spelled with A and E in various places) of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Drury Everett for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained sold and conveyed unto the said Drury W. Everett his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the fifteenth (15th) district of originally Muscogee, but now Taylor County known and distinguished in the plan of said district by Nos 190, 161, 224, 192, 160, 130 and the undivided half of 193. Also 80, 81, 112 being in the 12th District of said county being in the interest of Drury Averett of the above subscribed lots of land which is the undivided half containing nine hundred and sixty one acres (961 acres) more or less to have to the said bargained premises unto the said Drury W. Averett his heirs and assigns and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever the right and title thereof unto the said D.W. Averett his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Drury Averett hath hereunto set his hand and seal on the day and date above written. Averett in deed Henry 16 Laborer Allen 24 laborer Nancy Morris 30 John 8 James 7 William 5 Drury W. Averett married Mary A. "Polly" Jinks (daughter of Willis and Nicey Jinks) and is listed in the 1860 Census for Taylor County. He was killed in the Civil War. She remarried Lemuel Streetman Jul 29, 1865
