All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Virginia Crilley varcsix@hot.rr.com December 12, 2003, 11:50 am 12th Dist LL88 202.5 acres Written: August 1 1853 Recorded: October 13 1853 Taylor County Deed Book A pg 155 Wiley Wright (executor of will of Pleasant Wright late of Morgan County) to George Layfield (Taylor County) Pike County Georgia This indenture made and entered into this 1 Aug 1853 between Wiley Wright of the state and county aforesaid executor of will of Pleasant Wright late of Morgan County deceased of the one part and George Layfield of Taylor County of the other part witnesseth that the said Wiley Wright for an in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Six dollars to him in hand piad at and before the sealing and delivery of these present, the receipt whereof do hereby acknowledged hath granted, sold and converyed unto the said George Layfield all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the Twelveth (12th) District of originally Muscogee now Taylor County it being two hundred two and a half acres of Lot of land #88 more or less to have and to hold the above bargained premises together with all the rights, members and appurtenance thereunto belonging forever in Fee Simple and the said Wiley Wright will forever warrant and defend the right and title against the claims of himself and all other persons whatsoever.
