Written: October 5 1905 Recorded: October 12 1905 Book G, page 179 State of Georgia Taylor County This indenture made the 5th day of Oct. in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred & five between W(illiam) M(onroe) Hill of the Co. of Taylor & state of Ga. of the first part & the Southland Town & Land Co. of the Co. of Houston & state of Ga. of the second part, witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for & in consideration of the sum of nineteen hundred forty & 40/100 dollars ($1940.40) in hand paid, at & before the sealing & delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed & conferred, & by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey & confer with the said party of the second part, heirs & assigns, all the following described property, tract being ninety-two & 4/10 acres, more or less, off the north & west sides of the east half of land lot (No. 207) two hundred & seven & in shapr of a right angle. Directions and distances as follows: beginning at a stob at the southwest corner of said track (tract?), said stob being the original corner between A. Shirah & W.M. Hill, of said land lot No. 207 & thence running north 3047 ft. to a stob & thence running east 2754 ft to a stob & thence running south 1039 ft. to a stob & thence running west 2118 ft. to a stob & thence running south 2008 ft. & thence 635 ft to place of beginning as per diagram. (diagram looks like an inverted "L" and indicates that A.Shirah's property paralled the Butler Rd.) To have & to hold the said above granted & described property, with all & singular the rights, members & appurtenances thereunto appertaining to the only proper use, benefit & behoof of the said party of the second part, their heirs & assigns, executors, administrators & assigns in fee simple & the said party of the first part, the said bargained property above described unto the said party of the second part, their heirs, executors, administrators & assigns & against all & every other person or persons, shall & will do hereby warrant & forever defend by virtue of these presents. In witness whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand, affixed his seal & delivered these presents the day & year first above written. W.M.
