Know all men by these presents, that the British and
American Mortgage Company Limited, in consideration of One &
no/100 dollars to it paid H.J. Garrett the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, does hereby give, grant, bargain,
sell and convey unto the said H.J. Garrett, his heirs and
assigns, all that parcel of land situate in the County of
Taylor State of Georgia to wit: All of lot of land number
One Hundred Twenty Six except twenty (20) acres sold off
northern line of said lot cut from balance of said lot, by a
long established line, containing one hundred eighty-two and
½ (182 ½) acres more or less, in the 12th district.  To have
and to hold the granted premises, with all the privileges,
and appurtenances thereto belonging, to the said H.J.
Garrett and his heirs and assigns to their own use and
behoof forever.  In testimony whereof, The British and
American Mortgage Company, Limited, has caused these
presents to be signed by two of its directors and its
corporate seal to be hereto affixed this 14th day of October
1918.
