State of Georgia
Taylor County

This Indenture made the 17th day of January  1857
between  William M. Stuckey & Willis Jinks of the county of
Taylor and State of Georgia of the first part for and in consideration of the 
sum of three hundred and thirty dollars to them in hand paid at and before the 
sealing and delivering
of those present the receipt
whereof is herby acknowledged hath granted,
bargained, bequethed, conveyed and confirmed unto the
said Obadiah R. Harris his heirs & assigns; Assigns all the
following described property to wit:

Land situated and lying in the 12th District of originally Muscogee now Taylor 
County and known & distinguished in the plan of said District by number two 
Hundred (200) containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less.

To have and to hold the said above granted and
described with all and signular the rights, members
and appurtenances thereunto appertaining and the only
proper use, benefit and behooves of the said party of
the Second Part, their successors and assigns in Fee
Simple and the said part of the First part, the said
bargained property above described unto the said
party of the Second part, their successors and
against all and every other person or person shall
and will and do have in warrant and forever defend by
virtue of these present in witness whereof the said
party of the First part hath set their hand, affixed
their seal and delivered the presents the day and
year and inst above written.

Not sure how William Stuckey and Willis Jinks came to own this land together.
