HARTLEY applies for Administration on the estate of JONAH HARTLEY, dec'd late of said county.. The Estate does not exceed two thousand dollars in value. Petitioner tenders THOMAS N. WILLIS as security on bond. D.W. MILLER ORDINARY COURT MAY TERM 1854] Whereas Joshua Grace and Mary R. Hartley widow of Jonah Hartley, late of said county, lately intermarried. Estate of deceased still undivided. Four children by said Jonah, these are still living: Mary Ann Elizabeth, Jane Manson, William Mosely, and Sarah Margaret. Before the intermarriage it was agreed that the share to said deceased coming to said Mary R. for life -- the remainder to her children above named-- free from the control and liability of said Joshua. James Hudson, brother-in-law of said Mary R. is agreed upon as a trustee for the purposes aforesaid. Now this Indenture made January 12, 1855 between said Mary R and Joshua of the first part and said Hudson, the former of the said county and the latter of the county of Talbot, in said state of the other part, witnessesth that the said parties of the first part, have given, bargained, sold and do hereby give bargain, sell and transfer unto said Hudson the entiere interest of the said Mary R. as widow as aforesaid in the estate of said deceased whether the same be of an equitable or legal nature, real or personal in possession or in action the said Hudson is to hold the same in fee simple in trust for said Mary R. her life time and for said children at and after her death. The said Joshua is to have no control dispostion or power over the same. He gives up all marital or other claims thereto. The said interest is one fifth undivided of said Estate. The consideration for this contract is the antinuptial stipulation aforesaid followed by the then contemplated marriage which has been duly solemnized...
