Hays of the county of Taylor and State of Georgia of the one part and Eliakum Rhodes of the county of Taylor and state of Georgia of the other part Witnesseth, that the said William W. Hays for and in consideration of the sum of Eleven hundred and twentyfive dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these Presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and by these presents does grant bargain sold alien convey and confirm unto the said Eliakum Rhodes his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land to wit: fifty acres on the north side of lot two hundred and fortysix in the Twelfth district originally Muscogee and also one hundred acres more or less of lot number one hundred and fortyfive it being the southeast corner of said lot in the thirteenth district originally Muscogee now Taylor County with all the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the said bargained lots or parcel of land unto the said Eliakum Rhodes his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to his and their own proper benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. and the said William W. Hays for himself and his heirs and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Eliakum Rhodes his heirs executors and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against himself and against the claims of all other persons whatsoever.
