George W. Hearn to J.W. Boland Alabama Russell County For and in consideration of the sum of twelve hundred dollars to me in hand paid by J. W. Boland of the county of Taylor and the state of Georgia, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, I George W. Hearn of county and state above mentioned do hereby give, grant, bargain, sell, alien and convey unto the said H. W. Boland, his heirs and assigns, Lot of Land number One Hundred and Ninety Eight(198) in the fifteenth(15) district of Taylor County, Georgia containing two hundred two and a half acres(202 1/2)more or less together with all and singular privileges and appurtenances there unto in any wise belonging in fee simple. And I, George W. Hearn will warrant and forever defend the right and title of the above lot of land unto the said J. W. Boland, his heirs and assigns and against himself, his heirs and assigns and against the claims of any other person whatever. In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this November 17th, 1864. George W. Hearn Signed, Sealed and delivered in presence of The State of Alabama Russell County I James R. Giddens an acting Justice of the Peace in and for said county hereby certify that George W. Hearn, the grantor in the conveyance, known to me, appeared before me, that being informed of the contents of the conveyance, he signed the same voluntarily on the day the same bears date.
