Witnesseth that the said Willis Hobbs for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and doth by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said John Forshee, his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the Third District of originally Muscogee County now Marion County and known as the East half of Numbers One Hundred Sixty Five and One Hundred Fifty Six containing in all Two Hundred One and one-half acres more or less. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said Forshee, his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereunto belonging to his and their own proper use and benefit and behoof forever in fee simple and the said Willis Hobbs for himself, his heirs, Executors, Administrators and assigns the said bargained premises unto the said John Forshee, his heirs and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim or claims of all other persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said Willis Hobbs hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.
