Jinks, County of Taylor and State of Georgia of the first part and John F. Jinks of the county of Taylor and State of Georgia of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of first part for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred Dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these present the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge has granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents does grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all the following described property to wit Lot of Land No one hundred and thirty eight (138) said lot containing Two hundred Two and one half (202 1/2) acres more or less also one hundred acres it being the West half of lot No one hundred and thirty seven 137. All the above described land situated lying and being in the Twelfth (12) District said Taylor county and said State of Georgia to have and to hold the said granted and described property with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple and the said party of the first part the said bargained property above described unto the said party of the second part his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns against all and every other person or persons shall and will and does hereby warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents. In witness whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand affixed his seal and delivered these presents the day and year first above written. William H. Jinks Signed sealed and delivered in presence of us the day and year above written. John R X Martin, J.L. Bailey W.P. Caldwell, a Justice of the Peace. In person appeared before me in and for said county, J.L. Baily one of the subscribing witness to the above and foregoing deed who being duly sworn deposes and says that he deponent together with John R. Martin, the other subscribing witness to said deed saw William H. Jinks sign seal and deliver said deed at the time and place and for the purpose therein mentioned. J.L. Wm H. moved to Texas about this time. John R. Martin was 1st cousin.
