Ruffin Deed Book E1 pg 22 Release of Susan H. Miller, Adminx to J.J. Ruffin an undivided half interest in Lot 4 Block 10 Butler. Know all men by these presents that Susan H. MILLER, Administrix of the Estate of Daniel W. MILLER, late of said county, dec'd for and in consideration of a compromise and settlement with Julius H. Holsey of his claim to one undivided one half interest in the property herein after deeded; for which claim I am fully satisfied that he hadt just grounds, having paid said W.W. Miller in full for said one half interest herein after described and for the further consideration of one dollar; hereby grant and convey as far as my right as Aministratix extends in the premises unto J.J. Ruffin of said county one half undivided interest in number 4, and block ten (10) in the Town of Butler, said county; containing a fron on Public Square of fifty feet and one hundred and twenty feet deep with all the appurtenances thereto belonging; hereby releasing and not warranteeing the aforesaid interest according to my legal powers as Administratric and not otherwise.
