S. NEAL of said town you make by levy and sale the sum of Five Dollars -- the amount-- of his Tax due said Town for the years 1884-1894--together with all accruing inst and have you the same before the mayor and Council of said Town at the regular meeting thereof on regular meeting day of Feb next. And have you then and there this writ. Witness teh Honorable Mayor and Council of said Town this 15th day of January 1805. John C. Sealy, Clerk of Council Town of Butler. I have this day levied the within fi fa on one house and lot in the town of Butler. Said lot being on the road leading to Tazwell from said town of Butler and containing one acre immediately around said house--the same being known as the old African Methodist Church and Lot and levied on as the property of George W. S. Neal to satisfy a fi fa issued by order of the Mayor and Council of said town of Butler in favor of said town of Butler vs said Geo W. S. Neal for taxes sue said town for the years 1884-1894. This 20th day of Feb 1895. H.J. Jones, Marshall of Butler. After duly advertising the within described property according to law, I have this day exposed the same to sale before the Court house door in the town of Butler and knocked the same off to W.H. PIED, he being the highest and best bidder.
