Taylor County Deed Book I, pages 75 – 76

State of Georgia.       Taylor County.

This Indenture made the 20th day of June in the year of our Lord one Thousand 
Nine Hundred and Eight, between Mollie E. Rhodes and J. W. Rhodes of the County 
of Taylor of the one part, and The Board of Education of Taylor County, Georgia 
of the County of Taylor of the other part.
	Witnesseth – That the said Mollie E. Rhodes & J. W. Rhodes for and in 
consideration of the sum of Five [sic] in hand paid at or before the sealing 
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, 
hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed, and confirmed and by these 
presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey, and confirm unto the said 
Board of Education its successors and assigns all of the following described 
property to wit =
	(2) Two acres of land near the north East corner of Lot of Land number 
(145)one hundred & Forty five in the 13th Thirteenth Dist – Said two acres 
beginning at a patch of wood three acres on the public road lying immediately 
in the north east of said Lot no. 145 & running South down road (140) yards 
thence west 70 yards then another (140) yards thence East to Starting point 
said two acres known as the Rhodes School house land.
	To Have and to Hold the said bargained premises with all and singular 
the rights, members, and appurtunances there to appertaining to the only proper 
use, benefit and behoof of them the said Board of Education of Taylor County 
Ga. Its successors and assigns in fee simple and the said Mollie E. Rhodes & J. 
W. Rhodes the said bargained premise unto the said Board of Education its 
successors and assigns and other person or persons, shall and will warrant and 
forever defend by virtue of these presents.
	In witness whereof the said Mollie E. Rhodes and J. W. Rhodes hath here 
unto set their hand, affixed their seal and delivered these presents, the day 
and year first above written.
