State of Georgia
Taylor County   }   This Indenture made this the eleventh day March in the year 
of Our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and sixty One between Eliakaim Rhodes of 
the County & state aforesaid of the one part and Absalom M Rhodes of the same 
place of the other part    Witnesseth that the said Eliakaim Rhodes for & in 
consideration of the sum of five Hundred dollars in hand paid at & before the 
sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged 
has granted, bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed and by these presents does 
grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said Absalom M Rhodes 
his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of Land containing One hundred 
one & one fourth acres more or less off  of Lot of Land Number one Hundred & 
Forty five in the thirteenth district of originally Muscogee now Taylor County 
lying and being the South East Corner of said Lot  To have & to hold unto him 
the said Absalom M Rhodes his heirs & assigns together with all & singular the 
appurtenances thereunto belonging to his own proper use & benefit and behoof 
forever in fee simple.  And the said Eliakaim Rhodes for himself and his heirs 
and Executors and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title 
thereof against himself and against the claims of all other persons 
whatsoever   In witness whereof the said Eliakaim Rhodes has hereunto set his 
hand and Seal the day and year above written

Georgia     }  In person came before the undersigned Sinclair Streetman 
Taylor County }  who on oath saith that he was one of the subscribing witnesses 
to the within Deed.  That he saw Eliakaim Rhodes sign the same & that he saw 
William F Streetman subscribe his name as a witness
