Rhodes of the State of Georgia of the County of Taylor of the first part and G W Fountain of the State of Georgia of the County of Taylor of the second part. Witnesseth. That the said part of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred & 00/100 Dollars, in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents, does grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying & being in the Thirteenth (13th) District and described as One hundred 100 acres, more or less, being S.E. Corner of lot of land number One hundred & (145) forty five bounded as follows: on north by lands of John Turner South by lands of J.C. McCants East by lands of Mrs. F. G. Rhodes West by lands of J. F. Peebles this being a conveyance in fee simple of my entire interest in and to the above described land to the G W Fountain To Have and To Hold the said bargained premises, together with all and singular the rights, members and apperturnances thereof, to the same being, belonging, or in anywise appertaining to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, forever, in fee simple. And the said party of the first part, for his heirs, executors and administrators, will warrant and forever defend the right and title to the above described property unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns against the claims of all persons whomsoever.
