Deed from I.J. Ricks to J.J. Ruffin

This indenture made  this the 6th day of October eighteen hundred and seventy seven
between I.J. Ricks of the first part and James J. Ruffin of the other part both of
the county & State aforesaid.

Witnesseth that the said I.J. Ricks for and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen
Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged does
by these presents give, grant bargain, sell and convey until the said James J.
Ruffin and Geo T. Ruffin their heirs and assigns a three (3)  Lots in Town of
Reynolds in the county of Taylor and state of Georgia,  it being part of  platt of
said Town as Lot No 10, 11, 12)Ten, Eleven, Twelve Block No 24 fronting each Fifty
Three feet on Crofford [Crawford] St and running back due West 150 feet to alley.. 
Together with all the privileges that in any wise appertaining to have and to hold
the said described premises to their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in
fee simple. their heirs and assigns in fee simple and the said I.J. Ricks his heirs
executors & administrators all the said property to the said James J. Ruffin and
George T. Ruffin their heirs, executors, and administrators forever warrant and
defend against the lawful claims of any person or persons witnesseth in testimony
whereof the said I.J. Ricks has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this day
and year above written.  I.J. Ricks
