Ruffin to J.C. Bryan and J.W. Bryan This indenture made this the tenth day of November eighteen hundred and eighty six between James J. Ruffin of the first part and J.C. Bryan of the county of Macon and J.W. Bryan of county of Taylor. Witnesseth that the said party of first part for and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars to him in hand paid, and before the sealing and these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained, sold aliened and convey and confirmed and by these presents do until the party of the 2nd part their heirs and asigns all that tract or parcel of land it being the East Half of a Town Lot in Block Twenty four (24) fronting on Talbot Street twenty six feet and running back One Hundred and Fifty feet it being part of Lot number 8 (eight) according to the plat of said Town of Reynolds. The said Twenty sixt feet fronting Talbot Street and running back one hundred and fifty feet one half of said Lot fronting as above being the property of JJ Ruffin & son. To wit G.T. Ruffin and the one half interest of said lot above described and sold by JJ Ruffin to J.C. Bryan and J.W. Bryan known as the Lot with Store House and Fixtures of JJ Ruffin & son Fronting on Talbot Street. To hold the said above granted and described property with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances there to their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple.....their heirs, executors, and administrators forever warrant and defend against the lawful claims of any person or persons witnesseth the said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal this day and year above written.
