Waters BUT contents says Jesse Stallings 13th District - Land Lot 244 and 245 (partial) This indenture made and entered into this August 22, 1865 between J.J. Ruffin of the state and county aforesaid of the one part and JESSE STALLINGS of the same place of the other part witnesseth that the said JJ RUFFIN for an in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred dollars to him in hand piad at and before the ealing and delivery of these present, the receipt whereof do hereby acknowledged hath granted, sold and converyed unto the siad JESSE STALLINGS all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the Thirteenth (13th) District of originally Muscogee now Taylor County it being thirty (30) acres of Lot of land #244 adjoining E.B. WATERS and DANIEL MILLER and 100 acres more or lest west half of lot No 245 adjoining the above described land making in all one hundred thirty acres more or less to have and to hold the above bargained premises together with all the rights, members and appurtenance thereunto belonging forever in Fee Simple and the said J.J. Ruffin will forever warrant and defend the right nad title against the claims of himself and all other persons whatsoever. Russ was the Ordinary after J.J. Huff.
