Taylor County

This Indenture made this the 4th day of December 1863,
between R. Scandrett of the one part and Henry Pullen of
the other part, both of the County and State aforesaid.
Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of
One Hundred and Twenty Five dollars, to the said
Scandrett in hand paid, the receipt is hereby
acknowledged, the said land hath granted and sold to
Henry Pullen Fifty acres of land, it being the Northeast
corner of Lot of Land No. 33 in the 15th District of
Taylor County to have and to hold the same to the said
Pullen and his heirs forever in fee simple. Furthermore,
the said Scandrett and his heirs and assigns will warrant
and defend the Title to the above described Fifty acres
of Land to the said Pullen and his heirs and assigns
against himself and his heirs and assigns, and against
all other persons whomsoever.

In testimony whereof the said Scandrett hath hereunto set
his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above
written.
