Written: February 20, 1928

Mauk, Ga., February 20th 1928

On or before October 1st next after date we promise to pay the sum of One 
Hundred and Eight dollars fro value received with interest at eight percent 
per annum after maturity and ten per cent attorney's fee on principal and 
interest, in the case of collection by suit ot through attorney.

And to secure payment of this note we thereby mortgage and convey unto said 
payee their heirs and asigns, the following described property, to wit:

One gray mare mule name Minnie about 12 years old, weight 1100 pounds age 12 
years.  One red mare mule age 12 years weight 800 pounds.  One milch cow name 
spot-five years old-weight thousand pounds.

None of the above property can be sold or traded off without concent from said 
P.C. Watson.  

The above shall be liable for any other amount that may be furnished me this 
year, each several amounts to be considered as part of mortgage and 
incorporation therein, as the amounts are bought.  There is no mnortgage on 
the above, neither is there any execution against me.

Witness my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Additional Comments:
This is actually a note rather than a deed, with the livestock mentioned as 
collateral for the loan.
