Received of Jos. S. Bartlett, Six Hundred and Twenty five
dollars in full consideration for certain parcel or tract
of land situated lying and being in the Second District
of originally Muscogee now Taylor County known and
distinguished in the plan of said district as the east
part of Lots 206 Two Hundred and Six and 207 Two Hundred
and Seven of said containing 200 Two Hundred acres more
or less: half of lot 206 Two Hundred and Six, ten acres
less and being One Hundred acres less than the portion of
Lot 207 Two Hundred and Seven there being One Hundred
acres of west portion of said lot sold and deeded to L.B.
Gardner.  The right and title of which land I, G.W.
Whittington do warrant and forever defend against myself,
my heirs, assigns and all other persons whomsoever
forever unto the said Jos Bartlett, his heirs and
assigns.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this ninth day of January, Eighteen Hundred and
Seventy Two.
