Witnesseth that the said John Williamson for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars ($500) to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and sold and do by these presents grant, bargain and sell unto the said Willis Jinks his heirs and assigns all these two lots of land lying and being in the 12th District of originally Muscogee now Marion County, containing four hundred and five acres more or less known by the number 140 and 117 [adjoining lots] to have and to hold said lots or parcel of land unto him the said Willis Jinks, his heirs, executors, & administrators and assigns together with all the singular, rights, members and appurtenances to him and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple, and the said John Williamson for himself his heirs, executors, & administrators and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against him and themselves and against the claim of all and any other person or person whatsoever.
