Dear Bro,
I am sorry to tell you that my wife died Dec 17, 1912.  We hated to give her up 
& are very lonely. I have no news to write you. We are having lots of rain. 
Farmers are trying to get ready to make another crop. Hope you and family are 
all well.

Additional Comments:
G.T. Ruffin was the son of J.J. and Sarah Averett Ruffin.
He remained in Reynolds, while his brother, Henry J. Ruffin, moved his family 
to Alma, Ellis Co, Texas.

G.T.'s wife was Mary Ella McDaniel.
She died Dec 17, 1912.

Sadly, G.T. died almost exactly one year later on Christmas Day, Dec 25, 1913.
