Mrs. Willis Hobbs of Taylor County, was in a buggy with a small boy when, the mule she was driving took fright and began to run down the street. As the mule turned the corner of Mr. McCrary’s store Mr. Harvey ran out, and at considerable risk to himself, succeeded in catching the bit and stopping the mule. Had it not been for the prompt and courageous act of Mr. Harvey it is very probable that both Mrs. Hobbs and her baby would have been seriously hurt.
