The Butler Herald October 6, 1960
Mr. and Mrs. Abb Jarrell and their two daughters, Mrs. W. W. Amos and Mrs. 
Pauline Bembry all of Butler were injured in an automobile accident at Byron 
Sunday afternoon.
All four were taken to the Macon Hospital for treatment.
Mrs. Bembry was the most seriously injured. She was thrown from the automobile 
and sufferred a fractured skull and other head injuries. Her condition on 
Tuesday was listed as serious. 
The other three occupants of the vehicle sustained cuts and bruises but were 
not reported to be seriously injured.
Mrs. Amos was driving the automobile when struck by a large truck. The car was 
badly damaged.
