Sunday marked another -- the 80th-- milestone for Mrs. Julia Downs Jinks. This
occasion was celebrated at the home of one of her sons, Mr. Floyd Jinks of Ideal.

Those who attended this birthday dinner included: Mrs. Iva Dennis Bennet, Mrs.
and Mrs. Howard Chapman of Montezuma; Mrs. Annie Julia Peterman, Mr. and Mrs.
Howard Hudgins and children of Thomaston; Mrs. Robert Jinks; Mrs. Bertha Jinks;
Mr. and Mrs. Mercer Downs and children, Mr. J.M. Downs, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
Downs and children; Mr. and Mrs. H.A. Scott and children of Butler, Mr. and Mrs.
W.T. Worthen, Mrs. Dixon Olive and Frank Jordan Jr of Talbotton; Mr. and Mrs.
Otha Jins and children; Mr. and Mrs. Randall Jinks and children, Miss Alice
Bostick, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Jinks and Mr. Arthur Jinks.

 A delicious lunch was served after which Mrs. Jinks opened her many lovely as
well as useful gifts.
