NEWSPAPER PRIZE WON BY PHILLIPS BRYAN
A committee of ladies who are residents of Montezuma, of which Mrs. Jere M. 
Moore was chairman, decided that the paper submitted by Phillips Bryan was the 
best and it is therefore the pleasure of the Editor of Reynolds New Era to 
congratulate this young man and tender him the $5.00 prize which was offered.  
This committee did not know who the contestants were and their decision 
therefore was fair.  It is our pleasure to again publish this paper written by 
Phillips Bryan.

The winner of the prize is the son of Dr. and Mrs. S.H. Bryan of Reynolds.
