Monday marked the day as one of the most enjoyable and memorable occasions ever held in Butler. The address, and one indeed beautifully fitted to the occasion, was delivered by Prof. J.P. Nelson, of Oglethorpe, who is well known and highly esteemed by scores of people here. Present at the exercises of the day were 35 or more of the heroes of the 60s. The following is the program of the day’s exercises: Song – America Prayer – by Rev. J.H. Stanford Song – Dixie by school Reading by Miss Stanford Song – Bonny Blue Flag Speaker Introduced by A.S. Wallace Address – J.P.
