They attended the big celebrtion at Pleasant Hill Saturday, in which six sunday schools united, and competed for the prize offered to the best school. There were over five hundred present and altogether it was a grand occasion. These good people have been blessed with fine crops and are prosperous and happy. Additional Comments: The only Pleasant Hill church I can locate is Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist in Northern Schley Co. near what is today the Taylor/Schley County line. Does anyone know if this was formerly in Taylor Co.? Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist was established 1879 and sent delegates to the Chattahoochee Association that same year.
