In The School Room

The several schools in the county opened up on Monday morning with the 
following teachers in charge.  Miss Leila McCants, at Camp Ground, Miss Bessie 
McCants, at Murray’s School House, Miss Berta Fuller, at Jink’s School House, 
Miss Effie Walker, at Bateman’s Mill, Miss Sallie Rhodes, at Mt. Pisga, Miss 
Cora Singleton, at the Neisler School House, Miss Lucile Frierson, at Pleasant 
Hill.  The attendance was good at all the above places considering the cold 
weather.  These ladies are all home girls, excellent teachers and we wish them 
much success.
