Dr. G.W. Fickling was chairman of the committee on arrangement, ably assisted by Mr. Howard Riley, and it is useless to add that they had all the help they needed from the good ladies of Butler. They are entitled to and have the sincere thanks of those present for the success of the occasion. The menu consisted of the usual barbecued meats, salads, sandwiches, stews, breads and cold drinks. After the repast was over the people were highly entertained by inspiring music of the Blair Band from Potterville. Many of the young people and some of the older ones too used this music to skip the light fantastic toe. We are very greatful to Messrs. Blair for their attendance and the good music which they furnished and whish was appreciated by everyone present. The attendance was quite large, fathers, brothers and children and all were there to add gaiety and freshness to the occasion. And it seemed as if everyone felt a special delegation to speak a cheering word, give the winsome smile or lend the helping hand so as to make it enjoyable by each one present. We hope for the return of many more like this one.
